October 17, 2017 – Condé Nast Traveler today announced the results of its 30th annual Readers’ Choice Awards with Casa de Campo Resort & Villas recognized as the #18 out of 50 Top Resorts in the Caribbean, with a score of 95.98.
“It is a great honor to be included in this prestigious list of top resorts in the Caribbean,” said Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg, president at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. “Condé Nast Traveler’s readers have long been known as the most discerning and well-traveled group. To be recognized by this base of seasoned travelers who expect nothing but the best is a testament to our amazing team and all they do to perfect the guest experience.”
Over 300,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, voting on a record-breaking 7,320 hotels and resorts, 610 cities, 225 islands, 468 cruise ships, 158 airlines, and 195 airports.
Casa de Campo Resort & Villas – a member of The Leading Hotels of the World – attracts affluent travelers with the offering of spacious hotel rooms, suites and luxury villas. Gourmet cuisine and fine wines and spirits are prevalent throughout the destination’s restaurants and bars, a 370-slip Marina & Yacht Club, Polo & Equestrian Club, La Terraza Tennis Center and 245-acre Shooting Club. Spanning 7,000 tropical acres on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, this luxury Caribbean destination is also home to three of the game’s most difficult golf courses all designed by Pete Dye, including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and Links. Casa de Campo is also home to Altos de Chavón – an artisan’s village modeled after a 16th century Mediterranean city with boutique shops, museums and a 5,000-seat Grecian-style amphitheater inaugurated by Frank Sinatra in August of 1982.
