Meet the fabulous Resort Marketing Team
Our team are seasoned industry professionals that understand the travel industry’s needs. Each member of the team has worked with a major tour operator, hotel group or travel agent and has a proven track record for highly successful resort sales, marketing and reservations.
Responsible for the overall running of the company and driving the sales and marketing activities. Colin's previous roles include Managing Director of Hotels On line and Sales & Marketing Director of Elegant Hotels Group. Colin is the UK Chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Authority and a Fellow of the Institute of Travel & Tourism.
Holds joint responsibility for running RMI. Paula’s key focus is developing the company's strategic direction, in addition to holding the position of Managing Director (Europe) for Elite Island Resorts, one of our key clients. Previous roles include head of worldwide contracting for British Airways Holidays and Managing Director of MKI Ltd.
Deputy to Colin and Paula. Responsible for the sales and marketing activities for Elite Island Resorts. Francesca's previous roles include four years at British Airways Holidays in various product and ground services positions and two years as an account manager with Hotels On line.
Responsible for strategic business management and co-account direction alongside Colin for Caribbean / Mexico sales & marketing. Kate’s previous roles include Commercial Manager, Product Analysis Manager & Account Manager at ROL Cruises, Supplier Partnerships & Communications Manager at WIN Travel (Advantage) & 8 years Cabin Crew / Senior Cabin Crew at Virgin Atlantic & 5 years at Premier Travel.
Business Development Director
Responsible for RMI’s retail agency and consortia groups sales & marketing activities, plus driving XML connections and special projects. Previous roles include of Head of Sales at Funway and Trade Sales Manager for Bedbank Bookabed. Plus Darren has a long standing back ground working at the sharp end in high street travel agencies.
Sales Manager – Europe
Responsible for developing sales from mainland Europe. Martin is a seasoned industry veteran; previous roles include senior sales and marketing director positions with Sandals, Superclubs and Rex Resorts. Prior to moving across to the hotel sector, Martin worked as Reservations Manager for a leading UK tour operator.
PA to the Directors - Payments Supervisor
Responsible for tour operator accounts and accounts as well as providing administrative and operational support . Previous roles include secretarial support within a Shipping company, International and Domestic Banking experience, tour operation administration/database, sales training.
Hotel Reservations & Operations Manager
Responsible for managing the daily reservations & operational aspects for our hotels. Mark has worked at Resort Marketing International for several years as Account Executive and Reservations Supervisor. Previous roles include Reservations Consultant at Bridge Travel and Sales Support at Ryanair.
With over 25 years of finance experience Michelle’s role is to manage all financial aspects of Resort Marketing International. Michelle’s previous positions include Finance/Account Manager within the NHS, Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays Bank.
Michelle has been recognised and rewarded during her career for her customer service skills, which are an attribute to her role as Accounts Manager.
Responsible for collecting funds from tour operators, liaising with hotels and paying funds accordingly. Also deals with general accounts duties and provides administrative support.
Previous roles include Accounts Manager for RC Coppin Ltd, Witham Vehicle Solutions Ltd and Autotek.
Reservations & Operations Executive
Reporting to Mark, Victoria is responsible for all aspects of the reservations and operations functions.
Victoria was previously Assistant Manager at Thomas Cook’s flagship ‘Discovery’ store in Chelmsford and has a wealth of travel agent experience, including My Travel / Going Places, in addition to Thomas Cook.
Senior Account Executive
Annie joined the company in May 2013 on an apprenticeship programme, now fully qualified with a level 2 and level 3 NVQ in business and administration, she provides key support for the company’s sales, marketing & reservations functions. Annie’s prior roles include a web design apprenticeship & leisure centre receptionist and life guard.
Sales & Marketing Executive
Responsible for supporting all aspects of the sales, marketing & operations for Elite Island Resorts.
Previous roles include Sales & Marketing Executive at Switzerland Travel Centre, Tourism Assistant at Visit Essex and Open Day Events Assistant at Anglia Ruskin University.
