Meet the fabulous Resort Marketing Team
Our team are seasoned industry professionals that understand the travel industry’s needs. Each member of the team has worked with a major tour operator, hotel group or travel agent and has a proven track record for highly successful resort sales, marketing and reservations.
Responsible for the overall running of the company and driving the sales and marketing activities. Colin's previous roles include Managing Director of Hotels On line and Sales & Marketing Director of Elegant Hotels Group. Colin is the UK Chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Authority and a Fellow of the Institute of Travel & Tourism.
Holds joint responsibility for running RMI. Paula’s key focus is developing the company's strategic direction, in addition to holding the position of Managing Director (Europe) for Elite Island Resorts, one of our key clients. Previous roles include head of worldwide contracting for British Airways Holidays and Managing Director of MKI Ltd.
Deputy to Colin and Paula. Responsible for the sales and marketing activities for Elite Island Resorts. Francesca's previous roles include four years at British Airways Holidays in various product and ground services positions and two years as an account manager with Hotels On line.
Business Development Director
Responsible for strategic business management and co-account direction alongside Colin for Caribbean sales & marketing. Greg previously held the position of General Manager at Touchdown Holidays, one of Europe's biggest interline tour operators. Previous roles at Touchdown included Business Development Manager & Creative Manager.
Responsible for driving and implementing strategies for Elite Island Resorts and other aspects for RMI. Ken is a long time Caribbean stalwart, previously holding the positions of call centre manager for Low Cost Holidays, Royal Caribbean, The Holiday Place and Sandals.
Sales Manager – Europe
Responsible for developing sales from mainland Europe. Martin is a seasoned industry veteran; previous roles include senior sales and marketing director positions with Sandals, Superclubs and Rex Resorts. Prior to moving across to the hotel sector, Martin worked as Reservations Manager for a leading UK tour operator.
PA to the Directors - Payments Supervisor
Responsible for tour operator accounts and accounts as well as providing administrative and operational support . Previous roles include secretarial support within a Shipping company, International and Domestic Banking experience, tour operation administration/database, sales training.
Hotel Reservations & Operations Manager
Responsible for managing the daily reservations & operational aspects for our hotels. Mark has worked at Resort Marketing International for several years as Account Executive and Reservations Supervisor. Previous roles include Reservations Consultant at Bridge Travel and Sales Support at Ryanair.
Senior Account Executive
Hayley’s is primarily responsible for managing the companies agent training, incentive programmes, promotions & consumer shows, alongside providing senior sales & marketing support. Prior to RMI Hayley worked at Thomas Cook Retail as a reservation and booking specialist and in foreign exchange.
Robert has overall responsibility for the companies' financial management. Rob's previous roles include the running of his own financial services and consultancy group and Financial Controller for a Greek Tour operator.
Kerry is responsible for managing all aspects of the daily accounts receivable and payable. Kerry started her career as a travel agent and after studying for her ACCA professional accounts qualifications, progressed through Income Auditor to Finance Manager positions at a national charity and a leading spa hotel.
An AAT qualified accounts technician with over 20 years’ experience of finance and administration. Responsible for managing payments & accounts queries from the European tour operators and the twice monthly hotel reconciliation. Gillian has a wealth of account experience, having worked at the Bank of England for 12 years and in accounts in both the public and private sector for a further 10 years.
Annie joined the company in May 2013 on an apprenticeship programme, now fully qualified with a level 2 and level 3 NVQ in business and administration, she provides key support for the company’s sales, marketing & reservations functions. Annie’s prior roles include a web design apprenticeship & leisure centre receptionist and life guard.
Reporting to Francesca, Lauren is responsible for providing daily sales, marketing & PR support for the Elite Island Resorts team. Lauren has travelled extensively and previously worked as a Travel Expert at STA Travel in Chelmsford / Bluewater stores & been an intern at leading fashion brand Harper’s Bazaar UK.
Reporting to Francesca, Jaymey is responsible for numerous special projects & social media activities, alongside office support. Jaymey has A levels in Travel and Tourism and part time runs his own on line florist business. He was Head Boy at Epping High School and a Young MP.
