Resort Marketing International has a dedicated show and exhibitions team who co-ordinate and attend all major trade and consumer events in the UK. Resort Marketing International will ensure that the client actively promoted at each relevant event in the most effective and cost efficient way. A shows and exhibitions plan is incorporated into the annual marketing plan. Additional events are proposed throughout the year as they are announced and the plan/budget presented as appropriate. No activities are committed to until the client has approved the budget.
In addition Resort Marketing International will support key Road shows in the UK and promote our clients on the tour operator consumer and agent events throughout the UK.
Tour Operator Relations
Close contacts with all major trade partners are essential, especially the airlines and the key tour operators. Resort Marketing International currently manages & collects in excess of $85m in hotel reservations throughout UK. On this basis we are one of the top suppliers to all of the main tour operators, including Virgin Holidays, TUI PLC, British Airways Holidays, Kuoni & the Thomas Cook Group & all of the Caribbean specialist operators.
This main supplier status enables Resort Marketing International to maintain very close relationships with the travel trade. As such we are privy to each operator’s plans and strategy and work at the highest level to develop campaigns best suited to our client’s business growth. Often these campaigns are developed on an exclusive basis thus enhancing our clients profile with both the trade and consumer. Due to the size and buying power of our organization many projects are undertaken at a fraction of the normal marketing costs which are subsequently shared amongst our partners.
