to the day to day . . .
Take opportunities to practice patience, deliberately take the long
way round or get into the long queue. Notice what feelings come up.
Boredom. Annoyance. Anger.
Observe the urge to rush things along or do something differently.
Where do you feel it in your body? Is there a color shape or sound
associated with it? “Surf the Urge Wave” like this: Imagine the feeling as
a surfboard on which you’re able stand and ride it out. It’s an easy way
to practice “stillness on the go”
