exercise eight:
A Mindful Dip in the Ocean
Step into the sea and let your toes and ankles adjust to the
temperature. Feel your feet sinking into the sand, the water on
your skin. Notice one foot raising, pushing, landing, then the other.
Notice the physical sensations as the different parts of your body
become submerged as you continue to walk into the water.
Stretch your arms in front of you and allow yourself to be
completely accepted and held by the ocean. Take a deep breath,
and glide forwards into the sea, refreshed and renewed.
